The tighter-fitting jackets with seemingly hundreds of pockets that hug your body from underneath, on the sides, and in the front are still extremely popular. As performance technology has advanced, the materials have improved, and the prices have come down. I used to think that waterproof breathable fabrics were a gimmick, but now I realize that the fabric is actually a necessity.
